When we first got our Arcimoto, I was hell bent on putting up a front and rear dash cam. Before delivery, the very first accessory I purchased was a mudflap for the rear tire. So we came up with a simple metal bending project to mount both. This metal piece (that I hastily painted silver), mounts under the license plate. I used rubber washers to ensure the plastic isn't scratched.
As you can see, the mudflap is mounted under the part that ducks under the back panel. The dash cam (that I have since upgraded to a Blueskysea DV988) is mounted just above the mudflap. We ran the single cable for the rear cam (which is both power and signal) from dash cam monitor (mounted on the front dashboard) directly to the back by running it along the top bar, dropping it down behind/next to the rear seat, and up underneath the trunk, down into the hollow area that holds the license plate, out thru a small hole we drilled. We mounted the camera on a bracket that holds the camera and mudflap. The bracket simply mounts behind the license plate and uses the same screws as the license plate.
This system has worked well for over 3 years. The trunk stays much cleaner and the camera has been rock steady.
