There are 3 drain tubes that come off the bottom of your windshield. It's important to keep them clean and unkinked. There is some question as to whether clogged drain tubes can lead to an HV dashboard light when washing the vehicle, even if done very carefully.
The first drain tube is in the tray at the bottom of the windshield wiper.
It is the one that is often kinked by the clear plastic protector that covers the inverter and battery management system (BMS). We used a dremel to sand a little divit into the protector.
The next 2 drain tubes are on each edge of the bottom of the windshield. They are hard to get to and might require removing screws at the top of your panel nearest the windshield.
I use a vinyl coated braided wire to unclog each hole that leads into the drain tube.
